This ministry area is traditionally
chaired by the Church Council President.
The focus of the leadership and management ministry is to provide direction,
supervision of resources, and evaluation of the congregation’s specific
ministry areas in fulfillment of our mission. Our Mission Statement says that, “We are the body of Christ the Servant where
human needs of hope, help, and home are met by celebrating the love of Christ
with the whole world through caring, sharing, and teaching ministries.”
The ministry provides oversight and
support to the finance committee, money counters, Financial Secretary, use of
investments, insurance coverage, purchasing, and pledge drives for both
operating and building budgetary needs.
The chair is a member of all church
committees among which are Nominating, Constitution, Policy, Memorial, Building
and Building Use, Mutual Ministry, and Pre-school.
The ministry also assists the office
staff with oversight about computer needs, web page update, data entry,
maintenance, and church publications.
