Discipleship
As disciples of Christ, it is our responsibility to care for each other and
nurture the continued development of discipleship. As Christians, we are known
for helping those in crisis, the challenge is the continued care and nurture of
those around us in caring relationships. Though discipleship is ultimately an
issue between the Lord and his disciple, it is our responsibility to nurture the
continued development of discipleship and to care for each other as we all
undertake our individual faith journeys.
Our ministry areas are always welcome to new and different ministries and
activities. At this time we support the following ministries:
- Crisis Response Team - assists families and individuals during times of
crisis.
- Christmas Story Live - live performance of the birth of Jesus.
- Crisis Meals - prepares and delivers meals to families in times of need.
- Stephen Ministry - is a caring ministry to assist individuals as they
struggle with a variety of issues. This ministry is performed by lay members
who are trained to listen and support others as they work through their issues.
Contact Bob & Bobbie Peeler for more information.
- Discipleship - Moving beyond the annual Stewardship drive, this group is
committed to discipleship of each and every member, encouraging everyone to
examine their relationship with God, and everything that brings with it.
- Small Groups
- Da' Guys - Men's ministry meeting regularly for bible study, fellowship, and
a variety of activities and projects. Contact Alan Reidmiller for more

- Women of the ELCA - group of women connected the national WELCA
organization.
