On Sunday, June 30th, we will have an OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE, followed by a Potluck Brunch in the Fellowship Hall.
Please note that Senior Servants will not have monthly luncheons in June, July, or August. If you want to plan ahead for the fall, our next luncheon will be on Tuesday, September 24. Women, Save the Date!The women of CTSLC will be hosting a synod-wide Women's Retreat on September 20 and 21.The retreat is open to all women (friends and family) and is titled The Get Real Women's Retreat.It is designed to help women gather for a time of reconnecting and building authentic relationships with Christ and each other.The cost for the retreat is $45, which includes meals.The seminar will be led by Jill Miller, a Christian singer who will also have a concert on Saturday, Sept 21 at CTSLC at 7:30 which is open to the public (men and kids included).Sign up sheets and more info is in the gathering area.
Vacation Bible School Needs Help
The cost for each child to attend Vacation Bible School this summer is $80.Although this cost may be affordable for one child, it is expensive if there are two or more children in a family who want to attend.Please consider a donation to help offset some of the expense for this important outreach and education opportunity.Checks should be made payable to Christ the Servant with a notation in the memo for VBS.Thank you, as always, for your support for our programs.
Vacation Bible School is asking for volunteers to help July 22-26th.We need noon meals provided for the counselors and staff, kitchen help to dispense morning and afternoon snacks and clean up the kitchen, and someone to check the campers in and out.Two to three junior counselors are needed.Junior Counselors may be anyone who has completed 6th grade or above, but older youth (High School) or young adults are preferred. Also, we need someone to volunteer to house the three or four counselors Sunday through Thursday.Please contact Ginny Grundei at
