Our congregation provides the food for 2 dinners per month, on the 2nd Sunday and 2nd Monday, for people staying at the Samaritan Inn which is the only homeless shelter in Collin County, located at 1710 North McDonald Street, McKinney, TX 75071.
We collect monetary donations on a monthly basis to cover the expense of the groceries and are given a grocery list of the items needed, purchase them and then deliver them to the Inn where it is cooked and served.
Members of the congregation may also leave non-perishable food donations and bathroom supplies in the "blue bin" labeled for Samaritan Inn at church.
