Finance/Stewardship Committee
The finance committee at our church is involved in many facets of the church business. It prepares and reports the yearly budget and with the direct involvement of the financial secretary and treasurer, prepares monthly reports.
It is also progressive at cost saving measures including areas like payroll, utilities, equipment repair, and insurance. The committee helps to set policies and structures for hiring new people and acquiring large items.
The committee also encompasses audit functions for the church and involves other members in the audit functions, which include a yearly review of transactions and an audit of the preschool operations.
Finally, the stewardship group works with the finance committee to help set up its yearly and year long programs
